In honour of my 50th birthday this year, I’m running 50 x 50km runs in the 12 months of 2020 (#50k50122020). Each month, I’ve been running to raise awareness and funds for a different charity. For the month of December I’m running 200km for Siloam Mission.
Again, On December 26th I’ll be embarking on what I call, Change Boxing Day to Running Day – The Need Project to support Siloam Mission. I’m on track to complete my 50th run of the year on this day! Technically, this will count as two runs for me.
My ask is, would you like to help me with The Need Project? Everyone needs food, shelter and clothing. I’ll be running a 3.3km loop around the Forks 30 times - in an attempt to run 100km. This may take me 16 hours to complete. I’ll start running at 4:00am and stop at 6:30pm.
Normally I would invite others to join me on my run. This year, you can run with me – apart! Run in your own neighbourhoods and post it online using the hashtag #50k50122020, and tag me or Siloam Mission. You can even sign up to fundraise on the Change Boxing Day to Running Day 2020 event yourself, or you can donate to my personal page here.
My fundraising goal is $10,000 this year.
Please donate to my cause. No amount is too small.
